EU Support of Transnational Access / FP7 Project "ELISA"
With the bilateral agreement between the EU and Switzerland in action,
SLS is part of the Integrated Infrastructure Initiative (I3) on
Synchrotrons and FELs within the 7th Framework Programme.
The facility is able to provide limited support
for travel and accommodation costs. Contact addresses
in case of scientific or technical questions.
Currently the following rules apply:
- An experiment is eligible for funding if:

both the user group leader (main proposer) and the majority of the users must come from EU Member States or Associated States.
-
both the user group leader and the majority of the users must come from a country outside of Switzerland.
- For the travel to PSI, a lump sum will be provided to the chosen
user dependent on the position of the users' affiliation.
- For accommodation, the costs of a stay in the PSI Guest House will
be covered. In addition, a flat rate will be provided.
- Travel and accommodation support is possible for a maximum of ONE user per SLS experiment
